Biggest graphics card they made back in the 19th century

Hi this is Tony, the guy in the video! I keep laughing at myself for pairing that tiny gpu with the 13700k! All of your viewers are right about the integrated gpu being better than the gt710! I went back to the store last week and got myself a new 4k monitor and it looks amazing! I feel like I’ve been time warped from the 19th century.

Thanks to you Greg and to Aaron at MicroCenter for making all this possible for under $800!

Now to decide what to do with my old system. I’m thinking about turning it into a NAS, or just frame the old gt710 and 2500k and hang it on the wall as a conversation piece 😂

7/21/2023 Update - Steve at GN just posted a video on his GN Extras channel entitled "Steve Unironically Buys a Pre-Built to Use | Puget Systems Build" that is very similar to my build: 13700k + z790 + Noctua cooler + NO GPU. I feel so validated😂. But I think my NZXT H5 Flow case is better than his, plus mine was custom-built by Greg Salazar, of course.

The fact that he gave him $800 instead of $700 just shows how nice Greg is.

Hey Greg! I went down to the Marietta store this saturday and the staff was talking about how great it was to have you and Mclovin down there! Hate to have missed y'all being up here but I'm glad you got some rigs upgraded.

He should use the integrated graphics in the i7. The integrated graphics will work much better then the gt 710.

The on board Intel UHD graphics is probably more powerful than that GT710. Nice platform upgrade. He looked pretty happy.

I wonder if the igpu would outperform that gt710.

Love the old Antec case. I have two of them from the late 2000's and have gutted and rebuilt several times in each case.

My computer was 12 years old before I upgraded, ended up going all in with it and building the most expensive rig I could afford. Built 2 years ago with a 10th gen i9 and a 3080. Still shreds, no regrets.

Big respect to not just picking gamers for this, but also people who use their pc as a workstation for upgrades. This is why I enjoy you as a content creator.

my only complaint with the build is going with the NH-D15, its still got the reputation but its really overpriced these days considering the Peerless Assassin and AK620 but I think its a very solid upgrade considering only the GPU and PSU from his old build was re-used and his use case doesn't involve gaming as much.

This PC upgrade is like Murphys broom (which had 3 new heads and 2 new handles) best broom He ever had. Seriously a PC with all new parts is NOT an upgrade! It's a NEW PC!!!'

I have an old Asrock P67 PRO and a i5-2500k that was pushed to its limits for years and it's not dead yet. 2 years ago it was retired as a gaming computer to an art computer. Honestly, I have no idea when either the motherboard or CPU are going to die. Damn good motherboard and CPU. It'll last you forever.

My PC is 12 years old too. It'll never get an upgrade like this though because there's no Micro Center near me, but I'm still proud of it. The 2600K and P67 Sabertooth are still running like a champ.

After all these components "died", I hope he figures out that he really needs a UPS (eg 800VA Line-interactive).
