Many people answerd that " I'm doing good or well." But I think it's wrong. Because the question is "How are you GOING?" it's not doing! Isn't it?

"How are you going" is improper. that is a mixture of "How are you doing" and "where are you going". You can say "how is it going" but the other makes no sense.
