Fleetwood Mac Sara Song Meaning - Stevie Nicks Revealed

Sara Fleetwood Mac Song Meaning. Stevie's personal song. It's about her life and a mixture of events, such as her friendship with Sara Recor, Mick Fleetwood, her relationship with Sara Recor, and her unborn child with Don Henley. She considers Sara to be her alter-ego, her muse, and the "poet" in her heart. Before she had an abortion, Nicks called her unborn child "Sara". She dated Don Henley in 1977. He later confirmed that she was pregnant with his child, and she ended the pregnancy. Henley talked about the matter in 1991 interview with GQ. He stated that he believed she was pregnant by him. She named Sara the child, had an abortion, and wrote the song with the same name in honor of the baby who died. "I was still building my house at that time and there is a line in the song which says, "And when you build your home, call me." Nicks was furious that Henley made the story public and spoke to Billboard magazine in 2014. "Had Don and I had that baby, and if she was a girl, I would've named her Sara." This song was written by Stevie Nicks in 1978. She may have named it Sara Recor, her friend and singer. Stevie was secretly in a relationship with Mick Fleetwood, a drummer who had just divorced. Fleetwood was in love with Sara Recor a few months later and split with Nicks. He and Sara were later divorced. Fleetwood's "great dark wings" is most likely Fleetwood. He was a loud red Ferrari driver (that's what Sara and Stevie used to call him when they drove up). It could also refer to Lindsey Buckingham's failed romance with Nicks. Rumors was the album that followed it, and this album was highly anticipated. This song was one of the few that most people liked on Tusk. The double album is largely experimental, with many songs written by Lindsey Buckingham. These songs sounded very different from the songs on Rumors.

This is deep and personal, but I have a better understanding of the songs of personal relationships Ms. Nicks sings.

It's hard to respect Ms. Nicks, reading that she's had four abortions. And she's angry with Don Henley for speaking about this abortion in an interview. What did he feel when she had it done?
