In 1981, six years after joining Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks went solo for the first time with her debut album ‘Bella Donna’. A massive success, it sold more than five million copies in the U.S., topped the album charts and produced four hit singles, including her signature anthem, "Edge Of Seventeen." More platinum albums followed – ‘The Wild Heart’ (1983), ‘Rock A Little’ (1985), and ‘The Other Side Of The Mirror’ (1989).

In 2019, Stevie Nicks made history by becoming the first female artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - first as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998, and most recently in recognition of an extraordinary solo career that spans nearly 40 years.

When Stevie and Lindsey joined Fleetwood Mac the band took off like a rocket. The respect they all got back then is no different today. They will always be one of the best bands of all time. It will always be hard to find a female artist with the voice of Stevie Nicks❤

Something that fascinates me about her is that you can tell she loves what she does, she has music in her being, it flows, she is charming.

I have to agree. That Lady can really sing. Real talent. No hype no “Hey look at me “ gimmicks. Just great music

Stevie doesn't just have a unique, mystic, hypnotic type voice. She also has great stage charisma. Stevie literally commands your attention.

Stevie is EVERYTHING!! I'm 70 and follow all her music and concerts. As long as she's rockin I'll be there. She speaks to my soul. She's a brilliant song writer and singer. We need more of this kind of music in today's world.

This is the only song I know that goes through all the stages of heartbreak:

Denial (Wait a minute baby)
Remembering (I had met my match)
Grief (Now it’s gone!)
The Storm (Hold on! The night is coming)
Acceptance (It doesn’t matter anymore)

What other song takes you on that ride? Stevie Nicks makes it happen.

This is my very favorite song of Stevie's. The melody is magical and haunting. I named my daughter after this song. She is now 36 years old and I'm still listening to this song daily! ❤️

Stevie is an amazing poet and was born to perform. I’m 45, same age as Rumors, and my first memory is my mother playing “Dreams” over and over with the record sleeve in her hand, trying to learn the words. I don’t remember a life without the magic of Stevie in it.

She is the ultimate definition of a goddess. She turned 60 years old in May of 2008, the year of this performance.

I will always remember the first time I heard this song, I was about 12 or 13 back in 1978. I was cleaning my room late at night while listening to the radio and this song came on, I was dreaming just a natural high, I just hit me at the right time, I loved it. just wanted to :-)

Through all the years of challenge, fears, victories and difficulties, you have always given me a place to rest, Stevie. I'm now 67 and still love you and will never tire of your music. Thank you for it all.
