Fear Inoculum is the fifth studio album by American rock band Tool. It was released on August 30, 2019, through Tool Dissectional, Volcano Entertainment, and RCA Records. It is the band's first album in 13 years, due to creative, personal, and legal issues band members encountered since the release of 10,000 Days. It was released to critical acclaim, with reviewers generally agreeing that the band had successfully refined their established sound. The album topped the US Billboard 200 chart, their third in a row to do so, selling over 270,000 album-equivalent units. The album topped five other national album charts in its opening week as well. Two songs off the album received Grammy nominations, the first single "Fear Inoculum", for the Grammy Award for Best Rock Song, and "7empest",[1] for the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance, with the latter winning the award. The title track also holds the Guinness World Record for longest song ever to chart on the Billboard Hot 100

The run from the title track to Descending is in my opinion the absolute maximum music as a concept will ever reach in terms of the balance between beauty, intensity, quality and virtuosity. To me the apex of music maybe until these freaking aliens release another album. To me, the greatest album of all time. A matured, experienced and well-lived group of geniuses coming back together to evoke their greatness into one album. Listening to the run until Descending paying careful attention, digesting the lyrics, especially if you can resonate with them, having a certain level of music knowledge to be able to truly appreciate the musical nuances and then boom... 51:23. My hair is standing. I'm in tears for the maybe tenth time just like the first time. Words are meaningless as tools to muster my appreciation for this thing.

This album in particular does it for me. It feels like they're putting everything on the line here - the most dynamic or exploratory that I've heard them to some degree. Adam's guitar is insane and groovy and Danny really outdid himself with his range of percussion and totally diabolical rhythms.Maynard's vocals are powerful and lyrics timeless.Anyway, a sick album. (dmt really elevated the experience too)

Thanks pedro for posting this album in its entirety. For me, thats the only way to listen to Tool. They release great singles but their music has far to much depth to just listen to the individual singles.
