There's a new way to order your bratwurst and it doesn't require a human. This is the BratWurst Bot. It was created by the FZI Research Center for Information Technology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. It takes your order, grills the bratwurst, and serves them. How? It's made up of a robot arm and robotic gripper. Two cameras monitor the bratwurst on the grill so it knows when to grill and flip. It automatically fills empty grill space with more bratwurst. The bot is interactive and can say things like, "Enjoy your meal!" The bot debuted at the Stallwächter Party 2016 in Berlin where it made over 200 sausages. Guests ordered their bratwurst via a tablet. Sit back, relax and let the BratWurst Bot do all the cooking.
