Dave I wouldn't even be half the musician I am today if I didn't have your videos to help me understand the feel & flow of not only JF, but just music in general as I am completely self-taught. I'm currently going onto a Keele University Course to study Music Production and I believe you are partly responsible for making this happen. Keep doing what you're doing, and I hope I can greet you one day, just so I can say thank you.

Just hearing someone else say the exact same thing I think and feel (especially in regards to how johns music comforts you and how it makes you feel) is just. John's soloing and his guitar playing is literally my favourite thing ever, it's all I think about and it's so fun to hear other people say that. Funnily enough i don't find many people in real life that will have these conversations

Dave, 'flow' is connecting to the vast Universal Consciousness that we all are connected to. It is what mystical practices try to link into, science has actually verified this. You can 'flow' playing guitar, sharpening knives, going on a walk, lockpicking for sport, and studying things, it all links you to the Universal Consciousness, which is everything good and truthful in the world.

All understood perfectly ✅. I listen 🎧 to a LOT of blues music 🎶 and I can tell when the musicians or singers are in the zone where they don’t exist and it’s just music. My heroes are Michael Bloomfield, Albert King, Jessee Edwin Davis and Big Mama Thornton. And don’t forget Bessie Smith. I’m a beginner so for me, the closest I get to feeling the music is getting through a drill or riff without a mistake. I’m working toward playing songs, real music from my soul.
BTW I heard you talk about your Japanese Strat last night and my Japanese ST62 is my favorite 🩷guitar. I have more expensive ones but there is no comparison. I’ll be trading for the Reverse V and the Hendrix Flying V very soon 🎸🎵. 👍☮️🌞🎶

I totally agree with that Dave if you're trying to plan your moves they won't come out right just let it happen naturally I've been a guitarist 55 years I'm 68 if you let the notes happen naturally they flow out better but all guitars have their own niche you're an awesome guitarist Dave I believe you let it flow a lot

You’ve Everything JF has, mate. You are describing yourself without knowing it. Not telling you to “jump on the Dave Train” and get a big head; however, make certain that you are Enjoying the incredible gifts that you have been given and continue to turn into “craft” … you, like the famous folks you mentioned, wear your heart on your guitar.😊 That is the way it should be. (He also has/had the opportunity to play off of Flea - one of the “busiest” bassists - pushing his work to areas he may never have heard/found.
You too have unconscionable Feel. (I have spent a few decades in the Nashville in and around the best in the guitarists in the country - in all genres …. Check out Stan Lassiter sometime. Brilliant).
Thank you for sharing your feelings and your talents … Love you analogy to marionettes: God created the Music in our hearts, and He knows how Powerful Music is - which is why He holds the strings attached to us. Keep letting the Music grow and flow. Enough from me already … how do you like me so far 😂😂😂?
