Depends on what you do with the pc, but yes higher cache is better for gaming and intel need to recognize that and step up their game.

14900k is definitely better for workloads and stuff but the x3d's are alot better in games

There's bug on CPU scheduler on 7900x3d or 7950x3d. So reinstalling windows or the chipset driver can fix the problem and get the true power of the 3d CCDs.

Im app developer, constantly use different VM for testing app, yes for me Intel is doing great, but for game, i prefer AMD. If i had to choose in between, i may stick with Intel, bcs i mostly do productivity work, on my free time i play games, i dont mind sacrificing few fps.
