A beautiful musician. I saw him conduct Mahler in San Fran. and it was magnificent. Several times he was air bound, with both feet off the podium. He takes his bows standing among the orchestra members, not from the conductor's podium. He has inspired many parts of our country with "Il Systema" type music programs. Grateful to him!

Just wanted to ad that he looks like he has carpal tunnel syndrom or arthritis in his right hand from overuse or abuse of movement. I, too, have this from court reporting and I KNOW how much pain he is in. OUCH!
