"Without John Williams, bikes don’t really fly, nor do brooms in Quidditch matches; nor do men in red capes. There is no Force. Dinosaurs don’t walk the Earth … You take our movies, many of them about our most impossible dreams, and through your musical genius, you make them real and everlasting for billions and billions of people.”
Steven Spielberg

I just lost my dad this week. He went to Wayne State University as a music major back in 69-73. He loved listening to this late at night... also anything related to Star Wars or Star Trek. It was hard too listen and not just cry... these music writers are just wonderful.

Without John Williams I wouldn't be the humble musician I am today. I play rock/metal, but Williams remains my biggest influence EVER. Long live the MASTER!!!

I cannot imagine a world without John Williams and all this music. It makes life more meaningful. I dare to say he's the best film composer and one of the best classical composers of all time. Pure genius.

As a longtime lover of John Williams & his music, I've collected nearly everything he's recorded over his entire career. And, I've discovered that it's not just his amazing & beautiful music & orchestration, but his conducting is what makes his music all the more special. There will never be another Sir John Williams to bring the childhood imagination of us adults back to life as he could do.

There never was, and there never will be, another composer like John Williams. His music just speaks to my soul. He and Spielberg.., ..too much genius!

We lived. We lived in a time so special. John Landis, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and John Williams through it ALL...how blessed are we? It should be required to view and hear in all schools. This world would be better today. Damn.

If the orchestra played every bit of John Williams' work it would take days to play it in full. This is just the highlights.
And bloody good highlights.
Thank you Steven for giving John such a wonderful platform for his music.

John Williams doesn’t compose movie scores! 🎥 🎶
He composes movies made of music!
I don’t think most people really appreciate how much music, is responsible for contributing to the success of a movie.
In my opinion John Williams is responsible for at least 50% of Spielbergs success, of course credit goes to his genius, for recognising the talent and genius of Williams.
He is like a modern day Beethoven or Chopin of the film 🎥 world 🌎 living legend John Williams!!!

April 30, 2016 (Le Grand Rex, in Paris), how the time flies! I was there in the audience, I keep an excellent memory of this wondrous evening. So many emotions! I must have gotten a tear or two running down my cheeks. One of the greatest artistic collaboration of all time honoured as it should be. Thanks to Overlook Events!

The music that John Williams has given us is a legacy of imagination and the inspiration to make music together. Nothing brings us together more or reflects what it is to be human than music, song and story. When the divisive politicians are dust, these artists through their work will carry on living, breathing and enchanting. Brava John!
