Toyota Anti Theft Light STAYS Solid / Toyota Security Light Flashes while Driving or Car Won't Start

Показать описание
Does your Toyota Anti Theft light stay solid or on when the car is off, or your Toyota security light flashes while driving, or is your security light flashing and the car won't start? This video shows how this problem can be solved without a scanner in minutes! No trip to the dealer is required. This applies to any Toyota e.g. Sienna, Corolla, Camry, Matrix, Rav4, Avalon etc. If the anti theft light blinks while driving, or the anti theft light stays on while the car is off, it signifies an issue in the immobilizer or anti theft system. Also, the security light flashing without the car starting means an anti-theft issue. This is part of the key programming series and it's a zero dollar fix.

Thank you for your help today you have saved me $180.00 I went to the dealership they told me that I had to pay just for a technician just to look at my vehicle It would cost me $180.00. But then you showed me how to fix my problem. If there’s a guardian angel of cars you’re it.

Consulted every forum post, Facebook group, and two people at my local dealer, none could tell me why the light was doing this or why I couldn’t get new keys to program in my 2006 4Runner. I’ve had the issue for two years. started this video and gave up originally since my security light is not the same. Fixed easily through your technique. Can’t thank you enough!

Dear DIY autoworksNG....I am extremely greatful for your very informative video. Ive had a similar problem with the remote start feature not working on my Toyota Tacoma truck for the longest time and NOBODY ELSE before you could tell me about the "learning mode" which you talked about. I did exactly what you stated to do about turning the key to the ON position 5 times in a very short time and IT WORKED !! Its out of learning mode now ! I am one happy man!! thankyou thankyou thankyou sir !!

Man, I just brought back my RAV4 from mechanic who worked on fixing ECU & immobilizer as the car wasn’t starting. It worked but was having this issue as we speak. As soon as I watched this video, I went to the car and did exactly what you did, the second attempt, it went back to normal mode . Thank you so much 🙏 Subbed

This video helped me with my 2000 Toyota Camry Solara. All of a sudden, the alarm would go off intermittently after getting out of the car and setting the alarm. This was irritating and unacceptable. I tried the second part of ths video about 3 times before it finally worked -- let the key sit in the on position for 10 mnts for the system to recognize the key again. Not sure what I was doing wrrong but it finally worked. I thought I was going to have to take the car to a locksmith or the dealer but the thrid try was a charm. Thank you for posting the video!

Thank you very much for this wonderful Video! Same here, I spent more than $500 at Canadian Tire replaced the starter weeks ago, but it did not solve the problem. Car won't start again yesterday morning. And the strearing wheel is locked, I knew it was anti theft system problem, just have no idea how to reset it. I spend 2-3 hours online and thanks God I found this video! I tried keeping my key at on position and waited few minitues, it started! Thanks a million!

We had a guy trying to program an extra key (and he failed) for our 2011 RAV4, the light was blinking while driving afterward. Your explanation was so helpful, thank you. All is good now.

OMG. you saved my ass. I have a Corolla 2013, was removing the radio to prep for an aftermarket upgrade. I just wanted to disconnect the radio to look at the harnesses- plugged the factory radio back in. Then the radio shut down power in the ‘ON’ position and I was confused. i tried starting the car and just got nothing but rapid clicks and started freaking out. I was like, no fucking way the car got damaged by a radio replacement. I searched the internet, alot of immediate assumptions about the starter or ECM then saw a comment from a forum saying it had to do with the security system. A few more searches, found your video. Followed the easy instructions on how to deactivate security and the car turned! I was so fucking happy lol. Apparently the security system shuts down power to the starter in the event your radio gets stolen. I mean its a very smart system, but obviously sucks if you are replacing your radio and have no idea it is doing that. Some other guy was saying it was the ECM and you might need an expert to fix it. Didn’t need an expert, just needed your video. Thank you!
