We in Texas have had these illigals dropped off in our towns for two years. Our schools are overcrowded with non English speaking students and teachers overwhelmed. Our hospitals are crowded, our churches and food banks, housing and communities are stretched to the limit. Crime is increasing, diseases spreading and humanitarian help is failing. There are police and highway patrol having to leave their homes and communities, ICE agents, Nation Guard that have had to leave their jobs for months. Our state and border patrol is suffering from the stress of insanity and Abbott has done the only thing he can to get attention.

I keep thinking about the Clint Eastwood movie High Plains Drifter when he kicks all the people out of the hotel late at night. The local minister runs up to him and screams, “ you can’t kick all these people out in the street, they are your brothers and your sisters!” Clint lights his cigarillo and says, “ These people, are they your brothers and your sisters?” The minister piously states, “we are ALL brothers in sisters in the eyes of the Lord. Then Clint casually states, ” good, then you won’t mind if they stay at your place”.

I love the comment about ''these people are being dumped" Oh yeah, dumped on an air conditioned bus, asked if they want to go to certain cities, nobody is forcing them. They sit in an air conditioned bus, with new clothes on, free Iphones, watching movies on that bus, food and then placed in $700 hotel suites and given spending money. Nobody knows if they have any communicable diseases, nobody bothers even checking that. Surely sanctuary cities must have extra cash on hand, you know the money they saved defunding the police. Texas state officials and residents in south Texas have been begging the federal govt for help in dealing with the number of migrants. The magnitude of the problem is far beyond what any state can handle. But their pleas have been ignored. This is the only way to get the federal govt to act; they won’t act unless the problem is at their doorstep.
