‘As I See It: When the US invades and occupies other nations, killing and wounding millions it's always done in pursuit of its "national security." It seems the US can do so with impunity.

But when China invokes national security to quell foreign supported insurrection in its own territory it is censured and sanctions are imposed.

When the US bans Chinese apps and social media it is done in the name of national security. When China bans US social media to protect its national security it's an infringement of freedom and free market access.

When the US jails dissidents like Chelsea Manning it's done in the name of national security. When China detains a dissident it's a violation of human rights.

When the US oppresses its minorities it's excused as a flaw that needs to be addressed after centuries of neglect. Any resistance by the oppressed is seen as a threat to national security. When China seeks to alleviate the poverty of its minorities it is called genocide.

When the US spends hundreds of billions of dollars on its war budget it's done in the name of national security. When China builds up its defense forces it's called aggressive.

It seems that the US can do as it pleases in the name of it's own national security but China has no right to do the same.’

China's War history is very poor the UK and other countries don't use their soldiers as puppets in parades they're usually out in the battlefield practicing 4 times like this if China wants a war I think it's going to have a very difficult time

Both countries know it's a containment game. It started a while back with Obama's Pivot to Asia, and Trump continued it in his own way.
The US will continue to push it until domestic issues are so costly and daunting that it can't anymore. Or if another external threat arises. China will probably keep doing the same thing of strategic retaliation and continue development of its territories.

When you look to the left of you or the right, the people you see are different from you. They like different music, have different hobbies, and different feelings about different subjects. People like to talk with each other and share their views and ideas about things. This is how a community works. Some communities are small like our immediate family, and others much larger like our extended families or towns all the way up no a national level. The saying, you can pick your friends but you cant pick your family can apply up to that national level. All people share their humanity with eachother and that is what builds civilizations. When you silence and idea or an opinion you are hurting the community. You are stopping your civilization from expanding itself and moving into more prosperous ways. It was not too long ago in Earths history that we were hunter gatherers. Silencing the voice of a person who actually has a valid contribution towards making things better is not letting them be part of the community. That person is someones child, or brother, or mother, or grandfather. They just want to be heard. Would you like your family to be discarded if they spoke out about how they feel? Could you report your parents if they didnt agree with how they were told to think? Think about that.
