Just found out that all my fans are set to intake, I should probably change that tomorrow...

Me with my budget case: "WHAT DO YA MEAN TOP OF THE CASE"

I would recommend a positive pressure as it can help with dust if you have a filter. I tested neutral and I found that even though I have dust filter on ground top and for the psu there was a lot of dust, I changed to positive and that helped so much as it pushed air out of places where dust can enter from

If anyone’s wondering, the music he used here is “Loud Pipes” by Ratatat. You’re welcome! :D

You do this within a minute, Gamers Nexus does this with in 1 hour and makes me question my intelligence

Fans also have an arrow showing flow direction, if you're not sure.

Make it slightly positive to keep dust down. You can do this by making the intake fan’s curve more aggressive compared to exhaust. Keep in mind that intakes often have to overcome impedance from the filters and mesh, whereas the exhaust often doesn’t, so you’ll need to account for that as well. If you set same amount of fans for intake and exhaust but do not account for this, and set them all on the same fan curve, you’ll end up with negative pressure instead, and end up having more dust entering the rig.

I haven't heard this song for years. Feels good to hear good music in shorts and not these nerve destroying songs from TikTok.

"because hot air rises..."
Yes, but it doesn't have enough buoyant force to affect much in an actively cooled case. Going from 25°C to 70°C only decreases the air density by about 20% (1.23 to 1.03 kg/m³). That creates the force of about a few grams given the volume of an average case, which the fans can easily overcome.

Instructions uncleaer, took off side panel and taped a room fan into the opening. If set to max, it blows the rams out of the sockets. Anyone know if I can superglue them or something?

The "because hot air rises" thing is BS. the fans will overpower convection by a lot. The tip is good anyways, most cases have an intake filter, so, the dust will be mostly kept out, the neutral pressure helps.

Common misconception. Yes, hot air rises, but because of the RPM of your fans being so high this occurance will never take effect as the speed in which the air moves from the fans greatly outweighs the air moving up on its own due to heat.

In general, it doesnt matter what the configuration is, you will always have similar effects with case fans. Positive pressure, negative, it very rarely matters. I personally use a negative pressure in my case and it works fine. As general info though, you should always have more of one type of fan than the other, wether it be intake or outtake doesnt matter.

TL:DR : Neutral pressure is actually bad.

Extremely important information that nobody talks about. More guides and videos should explain this as some people legitimately don't know, and won't magically learn it.

Haven't heard Ratatat in a video in more than a decade.

I have 1 in the back and 2 on Top running at 1500rpm and 3 in the Front with my radiator running at 3000rpm for positive pressure in the case to help getting that hot air out and keeping dust out
