The character in this video is Valera O'Mooney, an ex-rum smuggling pirate who was betrayed by a governor's daughter. I plan on making a lot more D&D videos exploring the story of Valera and her friends if these tracks get enough love ^^

I have a pirate character who has retired and is hiding in plain sight with a new identity and the riches he gathered. He is good at heart and left the scene when he realized he became cruel and bloodthirsty, disbanding his crew immediately. He is currently travelling with a party of young folk who are lusting for adventure like he does; he wishes for going on an adventure to do some good on the world for a change to right his wrongs... of course in his chaotic neutral ways, and probably find love while he is at it since he is just 21, but considers himself a seasoned old sailor due to livng on ships pretty much his whole life. However his pirate past will doom him as he keeps it hidden from everyone since he was well known, even hidden from the party who could probably turn on him if they find out.

Some things never change, however, and I'll probably make him sing this awesome song while sailing along with the party as not so subtle hint. Thought I would share this since we are talking about pirates in D&D
