I learned many years ago that Hollywood shoots film story tracking from left to right. It maintains the flow of the theme as moving forward. If it were right to left it emulate the story moving backward or moving in reverse in time. If on a timeline in a story you want to convey the idea of moving backward on a timeline you would shoot right to left. Notice in most (if not 95%) of motion pictures the story movement is from left to right (moving forward). Just interesting to me.

Huge ideas ! What is really cool are the miles and miles you are ahead of videos like mine. The amount of knowledge you have is amazing!

I will be recording myself skateboarding using a stationary tripod. How many feet away does the tracking work before it stops tracking? Thank you
