Love the stereotype that Indiana is flat but as a Hoosier (someone from the state Indiana) I am obligated to inform readers that only the northern two thirds of Indiana are somewhat flat. The bottom third approaches the Appalachian mountains and thus very hilly. Strangers things is set in a fictional town so make up whatever you want!
