Former President, Jacob Zuma, has been disqualified from contesting the upcoming election as a National Assembly candidate. The Constitutional Court has clarified Section 47(1)(E) of the Constitution, as the IEC requested.

Zuma, however, remains the face of the uMkhonto weSizwe Party on the ballot paper.
