First time I used Fedora was 2018, I'm not very fluent in programming or using the terminal but it was less than a week before all forms of video playback stopped working. I always suspected this was a unique security benefit based on persistent suspected low level intrusions from everything else I've been using. A couple of years ago that kubuntu and windows and most other things are all based on the same Google Chrome infrastructure. So I know that I should get excited to be invested in Fedora instead, and start caring about being in top of things and digitally self responsible again. I've got quite a learning journey ahead for my careless laziness in recent years. I still know how to work with Windows better although I haven't used Windows in years, I would still be reliant on it for certain things when I haven't had enough experience with wine, and I haven't used synaptic package manager in 10 years, but I'm excited to remember.

Good first video! I fried Fedora 32 and it was nice but I liked Pop better, though now I'm using Solus.

A lot of people like dash to dock, I always liked dash to panel. Gnome is cool to be able to make it like you want, but it still takes up more resources than most other DE's.

Fedora 33 seems interesting because they switched to Btrfs which I don't know a lot about. Some say it's the next great thing, some say it's easy to screw up if you don't know what you're doing.

Dash to xyz plugins hasn't been stable in 3.38 since forever, but if you install dash to dock from dnf, that works flawlessly, but you can only manage it from tweak tools, because it's considered system extensions now
