Hey y'all I hope you guys enjoy this video. Please tell me what you guys think below and tell how you would remake hello neighbor if you could! Thank you to @BonnieFan69 for making HNR. Best remake of Hello Neighbor to date. At the end, some of the title cards and VFX are out of sync so when I said "not putting effort into" its not supposed to say lied there. It was supposed to say it when I said that this is a short video.

I actually have a hyperfixation to Alpha/pre-release Hello Neighbor and I have many ways I would build the game- One of the stores I came up with utilises the odd Jesus painting! A unique way you could do the story: The neighbour is actually a homosexual and the guy in the painting was his partner, they where happy together- living life, until the boyfriend died somehow and the neighbour tries to get in contact, not through the devil but through paranormal spirits (technically ghosts but not really) He is also covering for a local cult that he made a deal with until the Neighbor and the cult have a falling out so the neighbour moves to a new neighborhood, changes his appearance to look more neighbourly as the cult hunt for him (which could be a plot point for a sequel like Hello Guest)- then the 1st game begins.

The final game was all about childhood trauma and the protagonist as an adult trying to overcome all his fears in his sleep (as evidenced by the fear rooms and the giant neighbour).

I’m honestly in love with how BonnieFan is dealing out with the Reborn project, he’s ACTUALLY taking feedback and suggestions!

I really hope he makes it possible for the neighbor to go to the other floors of the house
My main issue with Act 1 & Act 3 is that the Neighbor couldn’t access the other floors

Ive never really thought much of the pre alpha, I've always loved the old style etc, and my focus has always been on alpha 1 and a little 2, and even the trailer houses, but for some reason I've never thought of the pre alpha that much. But it is a little more interesting now that I think of it, from this video and the fangame. From the outside it just looks like a bit of an oddly out of place oversized house, but still fine enough that it can be shrugged off, but as you go through it it becomes stranger and more weird things and places appear. And once you get to the basement it just goes fully into the strangeness of it all. As opposed to the alpha 1 house where it's already suspicious and crazy looking from the outside. I've got a new appreciation for the pre alpha now :]

Cool story, but in a horror game, the antagonist is only scary, if he's not actually a good guy. But even if I don't overlook that, it's a great video!

My story for a hello neighbor is this :

Chapter 0 - Jake Miller.

2004/2/1

At the start we play as a dude at night for mr.peterson's house to stop the screams but then. Jake gets intrigued as there are no one besides the neighbor. Mr.theodore peterson.

Jake gets uneasy and breathes in and out and decides to get into his own house to prepare.

The tutorial begins.

With begin to collect the necessary items along with interacting in the house. Your needed items are. Hammer, flash light, mini radio speaker.

And when the neighbor (us) gets out with the items. He catches a glimpse of the neighbor noticing our neighbor. So we immediately enter back into our house but then we go back out.

The neighbor is slow yet tactical. He says lines like this "Get Back Here!" And "I know you are here." And or "YOU."

Almost having a grudge against our neighbor that we play as.

But then the locked door.

The entire playthrough is that you'll slowly know. Theodore is slightly becoming slower by every step to unlocking the basement door

A cutscene plays.

Theodore kicks Jake down to the basement. Causing Jake to.. Die.

Ima rewrite some stuff to make it good.

I love the idea you have of you opening the basement door dooming everyone. I think instead of it being a portal to hell it instead unleashes the guest who lives in the basement of the Neighbor’s house, which coincidentally makes sense with the animated series and HN2 and 3.

If I knew how to use UE4, I would make a remixed version of alpha 1 that combines things from the prototype and pre alpha. I would basically turn alpha 1 to alpha 3 by adding the fear rooms and special abilities and adding random rooms that are connected by the train going around the house

Hi, i just wanted to tell you a full on alternate story i came up with for the neighbor if i were to make a hello neighbor game. The neighbor moves to raven brooks then makes golden apple amusement park then his daughter dies on one of the rides making his wife much more bitter, in a selfish act the neighbor studys a type of book of black magic and figures out how to summon a demon who can make your wishes come true if you do him one big deed (This demon is the Thing from the games but he is different in my universe). The neighbor reads a spell and communicates with the creature, it tells him he must murder his wife and capture and trap his son if he wants good luck for the rest of his life. The thing tells him to summon him once again once the deed has been done. so the neighbor murders his wife and traps his son in one of the rooms of his basement. He then asks the thing what else he must do next, and the thing says he must create a makeshift dungeon in his basement (Which wouldent be too much of a problem to the neighbor because he is a very skilled engineer.) The thing says he must trap people in his basement and murder them in a sacrifice like way. As the neighbor is digging his dungeon he finds a shed like door and opens it the door is a portal to the Things world and the reason he is sacrificing these souls is so the things world can be built to be bigger. The neighbor traps and murders many people until Nicky comes into town. The events of the game unfold, then at the final boss battle Nicky gets into then shed door (The dimension resembling the place from the finale) . Nicky defeats the thing and frees the neighbor and the neighbors son from the curse the son escapes and Nicky leaves raven brooks living a happy life. I know this way a lot but i put a lot of thought into this. :) (I also wanted to make the neighbor less of a sympathetic person in this).

About the story
I think it would be good if the game had a lot of mysticism, but no devils. What I mean is that the neighbor would want to contact him, but since he doesn't exist, it would just be weird behavior from the neighbor. His house would have had mysticism on par with Pre-Alpha, and it would have been all mysticism, i.e. paintings, an armchair's texture, an upside-down room, things like this.
