By the way, what wolfram physics project is achieving is so big and so deep that i see many main stream physicists are not able to follow him, nor understand him. He and his team are leaps ahead of elite physics club...

Thanks for weighing in. Wolfram is brilliant but he’s been out of physics for a while so it’s unclear to me as an outside observer whether he can provide a legitimate contribution to the field. Physics has made some nice advances over the last 40 years, but more so on the experimental side, not so much the theoretical side. Dirac, Einstein, Schrodinger, and others had some serious questions not about the accuracy of quantum mechanics, but about the completeness of the theory. Some deeper insight appears to be missing. Seems like not much progress has been made on this front recently. We undoubtedly need some fresh ideas. Does Wolfram provide some insight here? Not sure, but time will tell.

Wolframs approach is what science should be. If you know how to do science, you do science... you do not need institution or peer approval to do science (though you would need the money) then after you developped a theory you can surely present it to be peer reviewed properly to incorporate it into what is considered to be standard science...

maybe this is the question to ask ... what is the relationship (if there is any) between computation and mathematics ..

if computation is more general than mathematics .. then it should not be unreasonable for mathematics to emerge from computation .. if i understand things right ..

I have watched many of Wolfram's videos, nowhere did he explained 'new physics'. Personally, I believe a theory of every thing is meaningless.

its not a single equation .. but a single rule .. .which then comes up with the mathematics ... from what i understand ..
