tip from someone who can do the funny lucidities that might help, when I wanted to attempt lucid dreaming I started writing down what I could remember in my normal dreams. and one day, POOF. I became lucid.

This might be kinda odd but I think everyone should shave their head at least once. It's very interesting and different and more people would love it if they just tried it. You don't have to pay for hella hair products, no brushing or having to get your hair ready. And if you do makeup your makeup is THE main focus. It's amazing
