Webinar on Libor Transition – Concept, Operationalisation, and Challenges
Показать описание
In 2017, UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) announced that by the end of 2021, they would no longer seek to compel or persuade panel banks to submit quotes for London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR) -- benchmark interest rate index used for financial products.
While planning for this change has been a global effort involving regulators, trade groups, and financial institutions, the transition does expose market participants to multiple risks such as operational, funding, conduct, portfolio management, and legal risk.
Borrowers and investors have just three months to complete the transition. It is now time for them to engage with their financial institutions to ensure a smooth transition. While some firms have completed transition, and others have clear plans to do so, there are others still who are yet to commence shift.
To decode the concept, bottom-line impact & its challenges, Drip Capital, in association with CR FOREX, Quantum Trends & True North Partner, has organized a webinar on Wednesday, 29th September, at 4 PM.
The discussion will be centered around:
Introduction to the benchmark reform process
The key difference between LIBOR and ARRs
Practical challenges of transition
How can we help?
Speaker for the session:
Mr. V Thiagarajan, CEO, Quantum Trends
Mr.Rohit Joshi, Senior Manager, True North Partners (TNP)
Mr. Bhavin Shah, Senior Associate & LIBOR SME
