Garen Goes Fast

The reason why I get Q first is because it's just so damn good.

It lets you "double hit", it lets you escape snares, and it gives you a longer duration on the speed boost.

The speed boost is almost as long as the cooldown once it's level 5, so immediately after the speed boost runs out you can almost Q again, effectively chasing down anybody.

It also silences for 2.5 seconds at level 5.

TL DR, It's just a REALLY funny move.

Flash + Q = Your enemies can't flash away.

SPIN 2 WIN + ULTIMATE = WOWOWOWOWOW YEAAaaah

E is his most damaging skill obviously, but nobody is going to let you just run up to them and chill in your spin if they can help it.

My friends been doing Garen mid for months. Because his kit lets him beat most AP carries without trying. He has trouble with champions with built in flashes though like Ezreal.

This works, but you have to be careful. First you start the spin and click in the general direction of the enemy to auto spin then you click the ult and select him while he still is in range. Be super careful as to not press any button in this process. And when your spin runs out BAM! demacian justice well out of the original range.(not sure if this has been patched yet)

it increases the range (unless they fixed the bug, fairly certain it's not working as intended) by a fairly substantial amount. Still possible to get out of the range but very difficult.

garren mid lane is a bad idea any ranged or any one with hard cc will counter him hard. top lane is the best spot for him imo.
