Happened to me during my last seizure. The left side of your brain controls speech, so I assume if she stroked on her left side, the left side of her brain was the part malfunctioning.

Taking Birth Control pills are a known risk factor for the development of blood clots. What she described experiencing is called an Expressive Aphasia. John Jacobs, MD

My mum developed DVT, from using the pill, ended up nearly dying because the blood clots went into her lungs and then she had issues with her heart . THIS is a very common side effect, and well known about now, in 1975 not so much .
