There's just something about a really beautiful young woman being deadpan, jittery, and vaguely hostile that makes me howl with laughter. It's a marvelous comic persona, but it's not all she can do. Plaza is an absolute genius. Specifically, a comic genius, but I don't think she could pull off her comic ability were she not a genuinely intelligent person.
Not many people can make Dave Letterman squirm with awkwardness like she does, and still be invited back. She kills.
I've got to check and see if she's ever done "Between Two Ferns" with Zach Galafanakis.
