What we are stretches past what we do. This is a fact that I contemplated back in January, in a video titled โ€œSimply Lubna,โ€ in which I read aloud a note that I had written to myself on my first day of class in nursing school. There was a portion of that video that I did not publish at the time, and this portion is what I am sharing with you today. I have mentioned multiple times that one of my dreams is to work as a psychiatrist or behavioral/mental health practitioner in some capacity, and in this video I have clarified the role that this dream plays in relation to my identity. It is a part of me, but it is far from being all of me. Who I am and what I am is Lubna, simply Lubna. There are plenty of people in any given profession to be found throughout the world, but there is only one of me. The same is true of you. Our self-worth and character are comprised of a much broader range of experiences, values, and beliefs, extending beyond what we do professionally or in a particular situation. We are timeless and boundless. โœจ

This is a beautiful video. Thanks for sharing it.
Our real vocation is to be the person we were born to be. This involves doing certain things, but the doing is secondary and arises from the being which is primary.
This video goes so well with the video you made about chapter 10 of the Science of Being Great. Once I understood my own conception of who I am, my behavior changed in several significant ways almost effortlessly. Schedules, goal lists and personal resolutions to change were nowhere near as effective--they always felt like something imposed from outside myself. It was like I finally stepped into a suit of clothes tailored for me personally when I made my thought-form. It has my exact specifications, so to speak, perfectly suited to me, and only me.
