The dock at the bridge in Watertown square was phenomenal when I was young. We're talking late 80s. Massive carp. Let me know if you ever want some phenomenal Charles River spots! Great video

Trout and Salmon will bite on corn as well, works good in fast running creeks.

Here in my area, our rivers and certain ponds are overrun with carp to the point where they’ve had to drain and kill a few lakes. A lot of us now bow fish for carp to try and slow the carp population down. We even have bow fishing tournaments on occasion . It’s not uncommon to go out on a boat and shoot a 50 gallon drum full of carp or more in a night.

If you have access to carp in lesser polluted bodies of water, give it a try eating them. You can make delicious fish loafs or burger patties if you grind the bony fillets two times with a meat grinder. Highly recomend, there is also a ton of older european carp recipes as especially the Germans from Bavaria cultivate and eat a lot of carp or at least did it until the recent years but now many people prefer completely boneless trout and salmon fillets and carp is mistakenly seen a trash fish.

Nice winter carp 👍. Tip, ..google for a carp angling 'line aligner'. Or use a nylon rig coming out of the hook point side of the hook eye. This has a simular effect of turning the hook point mostly into the bottom lip and not away from the flesh.

If i remember correctly you should not put the carp on the stone like that, put something soft under it before putting it down!
