My headcanon is that when the duality cinematic ended- Alpha Killjoy brought back the spike to their headquarters, researched it and THEN replicated its effect when she used her ult in the Pearl cinematic. MAYBE THATS WHY KILLJOYS ULT HAS THE SAME RADIUS AS A SPIKE EXPLODING

Do you think when maps aren't put in the loop, it is because there's more going on with them. Like with fracture, it's best to believe the protocol is fixing what happened to it, maybe some work going and investigating. Many of us complain about our maps being brought in, but to be honest, I believe that most of the maps are having the valorant agent stationed at doing their work.

I feel like there is a detail we are missing. when the spike detonates on icebox it doesnt cause any side effects like the venice incident which could show that omega earth never meant to hurt alpha earth and cause disasters but just wanted the radianite therefore seeking the problem in the spike that caused that and fixing it

It would be niche to get an agent that betrayed their respective earth's like an alpha agent going to omega and omega agent to alpha and working for their protocal/legion. Agent interaction would also be interesting as the interaction would be unique depending on whether ur playing on attacker or defender side.

It’s always omega Legion as the attackers, except on the maps, Pearl and Lotus…

On Pearl, alpha protocol are the attackers because they’re taking their radianite back

And on Lotus, it takes place on omega earth because when it was first introduced in some cinematics, harbor and Astra are going there to check the site because it was destroyed on Alpha earth… as for Using the spike… I can only guess it’s to take any energy the place has so it can’t be used by omega
