In this episode, Senior Journalist and Founder The Public India, Anand Vardhan Singh talks to Prof Abhay Dubey, formerly with CSDS, New Delhi, and currently with Ambedkar University about UP Assembly Elections 2022 and discuss the recent development of leaders leaving one political party and joining other. Recently RPN Singh from Padrauna, Kushinagar left Congress and joined BJP and he is considered to be a refill in place of Swami Prasad Maurya who had left BJP and had joined the Samajwadi Party.

As the first phase of UP Assembly Polls is nearing, the couple of Akhilesh Yadav and Jayant Chaudhary is covering a lot of ground and BJP is really facing strong resistance here. After ‘Not a Chavanni’ rebuttal to Amit Shah, Jayant Chaudhary has gained credibility in the Jat Land of Western UP. They also discuss Eastern UP where apparently is a wave of Samajwadi Party and Akhilesh Yadav.
