Big Rescue Net Saves Huge Seal Bull

Before we had our big rescue net, we were not able to catch and help big seal bulls like this one. We were limited to small seals we could grab and drag out of the ocean by hand. We saw many big seals bulls with fishing line and packing strap entanglements, but they were out of reach for us. We tried to sneak up on them and use the rescue hook, but our success rate was terribly low. We knew we were playing with fire by crawling too close to sleeping predators, but we could not look the other way and ignore their situation. The big rescue nets have been a game changer, and we are pushing the limits with bigger seals every year.
