Firstly the whole of Gaza is kind of a refugee camp. All the people originaly from other places crammed together in a small strip of land. Its very overcrowded. Lots of people went south, but some got bombed on the way. The south is also sporadicaly bombed so not save. There is no space and no food and shelter there either. Some can't leave and some won't bc its their home and they are afraid they won't get it back. Too afraid or to angry to leave. They shouldn't have to though. Bombing residential without care for civilian casualties is absolutely a war crime. No matter who does it.
