As an asian person, I'm so happy that I could get ostrich, horse, venison, or other less common cuts so easily

my wife and I are getting a pup in a few days. we were fully prepared to get what we thoughtwas the "best" kibble (within reasonable budget)... then we found your channel and now we're convinced and will feed our new pup raw meat following your instructions. This is such a good channel with a lot of good info. please keep making these. you are making such a huge impact in the world.

I've been binge watching your past videos so I was absolutely thrilled when I saw that you uploaded this video! Thank you for updating!

Also, if for whatever reason you've been receiving hate comments (because this is the internet), don't listen to them! You are making a positive difference for pets around the world! So thank you for sharing knowledge and taking the time and putting the effort to make yet another great quality video! I also want to let you know you don't have to push yourself too hard to make videos for us and its okay to take breaks if you need them. I appreciate all that you do and I know I'm not alone in this.

Anyway, sorry for the long rant, I wish you and your family well! ;)

I work at Costco and we have the following for $.99 per lb :
Chicken thighs
Chicken wings and drumsticks
Whole young chickens (you get two for $9-10!)

Pork loins + chops are usually $1.00-1.99 per pound.

I can feed my 115 pound dane pup for about $3.00 a day with these cuts (variety in time, he’s picky 🙄) and his previous kibble cost about $2.50 a day. Worth it!

I asked my local butchers yesterday how much most of their organs were per kg and they are almost all in the $20+ range.. even Oxen tail was $23 per kg, it was absolute madness. So unfortunately I have to mostly stick with chicken organs as they're roughly $5 a kg. I still occasionally get lambs heart instead of chicken hearts (whenever I can find it) and I always get lambs brain. Thankfully kangaroo is a rather cheap muscle meat tho, as I live in AUS and I can give him more protein variety with that!

The BEST thing we did was befriend the local farmers in our area - we get a steady supply of organs, raw goat milk, and bones that would otherwise be thrown out.

I'm trying to convince my mom to feed my cats raw but she said its just unconvenient and expensive eventhough I mentioned that it could be cheaper than the brand I'm feeding my cats now(royal canin). I'm just so grateful that you made this video and I'm trying to find the courage to show her this video😅 Wish me luck!

My cat is almost 9 years old and she's extremely fat no matter how much I cut down her food and when I try to play with her and exercise her, I can tell she wants to play but doesn't have the energy. She also comes back for more food 5 minutes later. 2 of our cats vomit, mine averages about once every week so I don't know if it's the kibble but she just went to the vet and is healthy (except her weight) so I'm trying to find solutions and I stumbled across raw feeding so thankyou!

Though my grandma has been a really toxic person in my life when it comes to it. She's an awesome person and basically raised me (she lives with us) but she refuses to believe anything but kibble is healthy for animals. I try to teach her more about it backing my statements with facts and research but she doesn't listen and just walks off saying "you need to cook it" or "they will get sick they can't have raw food" and does not back up her claim what so ever. However, she's someone I trust and look up to and her saying this has made me hold off and doubt raw feeding. I know it's better through other people's experiences, research, and example but even when my grandma doesn't provide any sound information to corroborate her statements I still doubt the research I've done and have bought some chicken liver to feed my cat to see how she would take to it but its kinda just sitting in the freezer. (thank you to those who took the time to read my comment)

Still, I would absolutely love to raw feed my cat and my future puppy and your videos have made it 1000x easier, I mean this. Before I found your channel I was lost, I didn't fully understand the concept of it and now I'm just rewatching everything and I'm going to try to start raw feeding within this next month, or at least start.

I have a question, also love the informative videos! So, we have chickens and are going to be getting rabbits and goats, I was wondering, what would be the best parts to use out of the two since we were thinking about raw feeding them.

I actually found a raw diet kibble! The brand name is nature’s variety instinct the raw brand and it’s a pure raw diet kibble with no extra ingredients! And they have it for dogs and cats!

(Beef version) The ingredients for dogs are: beef, beef liver, pumpkin seeds, beef spleen, carrots, apples, butternut squash, ground flaxseed, dried kelp, broccoli, apple cider vinegar, salmon oil, rosemary extract, blueberries, and dried chicory root. The use monomorillonite clay for shape, mixed tocopherols as a preservative, and freeze dry it.

(Rabbit version)For cats the ingredients are: rabbit (including ground rabbit bone), pork, pork liver, pumpkin seeds, carrots, apples, butternut squash, rabbit liver, rabbit kidney, rabbit lung, dried kelp, broccoli, apple cider vinegar, salmon oil, rosemary extract, blueberries, and dried chicory root. The use monomorillonite clay for shape, mixed tocopherols as a preservative, and freeze dry it.

And they have plenty of flavors too like beef, rabbit, pork, fish, etc…
The point is I think you should definitely try this new stuff because it is amazing!

The price for a small bag is about 15 dollars and the price for a large bag is about 30 dollars.

How much should I feed my dogs and cats? They’re all indoor/outdoor with backyard access. Dogs are overweight, but cats aren’t. For a healthy body weight, when I don’t know exactly how much they exercise, how much “raw” (id rather lightly cook it for my own personal comfort due to OCD around bacteria) food should I feed per day? I see many places saying about 2% their body weight, is that a good general rule? And how would I know if it’s too much/too little without weighing them constantly? Getting two 50lbs+ dogs onto a home scale often would be quite the take lmao

Hello so there is no way that I would be about to feed an all raw diet all the time, but I was wondering if there is anything pieces that I could add to the kibble that would help? Have tried to convince the family before we got the puppy but would not go for it 😕, have him on a high quality kibble. He is a large dog breed and 5 month old. Thank you for any help

Hi, can someone help me with their experience? I'm so anxious about giving my cat raw bones, do cats just swallow the whole chicken wing or do they chew it or what's the deal exactly ? Isnt that a choking hazzard? Also my cat is 9 months old will he instinctively know how to eat it ? Sorry I'm a lil paranoid I have a fear of choking, specifically someone in my care choking (toddler, cat etc)

I'm on day 3 of transitioning my cats onto raw food from wet. One already loves it, the other is a bit more hesitant but still trying it. I've gone commercial raw as I'm not confident with making my own, and even still its so much cheaper than the equivalent wet food with the same real meat content. Only £10 a month each more expensive than the Felix they're on, and £25 a month each cheaper than the wet equivalent. No way I'm going back!

I tried to feed raw food to my cat. She looks like she love the food but has threw up couple times. Is there any tip I should do to prevent her from vomiting? Thank you and love your chennel!
