It's about a balanced meal. Cats require a certain amount of essential fatty acids, essential amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. That means there should also be meat bones (chicken wing tips

I spend $97 a month on my cat's food. Yes, I do know what is in my cat's wet food.The ingredients are: Chicken breast 70%, Chicken broth 29% and Vitamins and minerals 1%. I can actually see REAL high quality chicken/duck/beef in the tin. Like most people, I used to feed my cat cheap supermarket dry cat food. But then I started getting to know much more stuff about cat nutrition and changed his diet. Well done you for feeding your cats so well! I'm not completely sure about a raw diet for my cat, but I've been looking into it. 🙂

Maybe add a bit more vitamins maybe add and egg and grind up the eggshell for calcium and add carrots or pumpkins to help with worms

do you have a plan for the dishes you give? i’m pretty limited to what i give my cat as a uni student and i like the idea of transitioning to raw food but i’m just unsure if i can provide enough without it becoming monotonous

I'm considering this for my cat. I hate the feeling of serving him something that looks stale and dry meanwhile eating good meals myself. He mostly eats fancy feast cans but i question if they are even healthy for him. He deserves better!

They need raw meaty bones too, and it's measured by weight, not volume. I recommend Cats Completely Raw and Proud if you want to learn about giving a balanced diet. Make sure to read through the rules.

I spend $20 a month to feed my cat. I buy any meat i can find at a market for $20. I then portion the meat into 30 days. I mix the meat with live grub worms that i grow in my 4' x 2' terrarium. My cat absolutely lovss grub worms. Plenty of protein and nutrition for a cat. It's a lot healthier and nourishing then cat food which cats areb't meant to eat. They need live protein for optimum health just like their ancestors and close relatives.

Is raw or cooked better ? Im iffy on handling raw food and giving my cats jusr like that . My babygirl seens to not like dry food lol i think she wants a change and she always begs for our food especially when we cook meat

Do you get your raw stuff directly from the grocery store? I’ve been reading about raw diets because I would love to switch my cats over but I was reading grocery store food is unreliable and you should get it from a “fresher” reliable source.

Personally I can't feed my cat chicken, as it causes her to throw up every time but I've had her on a raw food diet with a variety of other meats for a couple years now.
