It is crazy that Falcon 4, though heavily modified, is alive to this day. The Falcon 4 manual was amazing.

the quiet satisfaction in your voice when you evaluated the Viper warms my heart

Hi!
5:20 : A little G warm up session will increase "virtual pilot's" tolerance for several minutes.
10:00 : Only two greens => possibly an over-speed at takeoff with gear/door maneuvering. You could have applied the alternate landing gear procedure/checklist to get a successful extension.
(remember that you can test the lights before going into the conclusion that you have an LG failure, despite the "TO/LDG CONFIG" alarm/tone which could be triggered by something else than the RMLG unlocked)
11:15 : No random failure (unless you have set the Config to allows random failures, but this is not really a realistic option. It is rather to practice a lot of different failures). Any failure you can have will have a reason/root cause.
VERY cool, glad and happy to see you checking out Flacon BMS! ❤
Kind regards.

Long time DCS Viper driver here. I haven’t touched DCS since I’ve (re)discovered Falcon BMS. What an amazing game with great devs and a super nice community. And it’s basically free. ❤

Hi, Mover. Try some campaign stuff. That is where BMS truly shines.

Thanks for taking a look at BMS! As a former BMS dev(long time ago), this is very nostalgic.

Falcon BMS is amazing. I bought Falcon 4 when it first came out (seems like a lifetime ago) and to see it still going and still not exceeded in some ways is incredible.

Watching a veteran do his thing in the sim really brings a lot to the table. Much respect for Mover giving his time and expertise to the hobby. I certainly appreciate it.

Welcome to BMS, I hope you like it. Try putting the visor down to get more contrast with the HUD.

Hell yeah Mover ! I thought you were gonna test BMS when 4.38 drops with the new terrain but I'm glad you did before ! Can't wait to watch your next video on BMS !

I started with Falcon BMS. In Chile, March is the month that celebrates the official creation of the Air Force, so it's a joyride of different planes. A friend from HS is a viper pilot and allowed me to climb in the cockpit. We made a bet that I could start the viper (not touching any switches ofc) and I got out with a nice bottle of whiskey.
Edit: Might I add that it's almost stupid proof. Engine knobs on the right side, config panel in front of you, radar on your left. It seems that the people who designed thought "What if we put all related instruments with something specific in a left to right motion". Beautiful plane, even though we used older block 50 models.

When i heard you mention that you tried out BMS like most viewers i was interested to hear your flight model thoughts. The campaign is the thing that sets Falcon apart from everything else though.

I bought Falcon 4.0 in 1998 as a 15 year old and it's what got me into flying. Eventually my body told me "no", but it was still a good ride.
I still remember my first successful aerial refueling. And of course I played the campaign. It was really nuts when you were on route on a bombing mission with some heavy GBUs and two bags and suddenly your RWR went off from a MIG or one of the many SAMs and things got real fast. Jettison, defend etc.
It's actually been a while that I touched Falcon.... but yeah, doing that now.
