I got a 2023 hrv awd LX and love it. It comes with a bunch of electronic features I don't use but it rides nice and the gas mileage indicates 32mpg after 2300 miles. It is a touch lower than I'd prefer for passenger ride height but a crv was about $6000 more so its good enough.

Why not test drive the new CR-V ?
I was hesitant at first too, but after several test drives, I was sold.
People making big stink abt lack of fog lights, but the new LCD lights are so bright and wide in scope, it's impressive during night time driving.

We just got the 2023 CR-V EX few months ago.
MPG averaging just under 30 city, 37 highway.
I'd say that's damn good considering it's not hybrid.
Trying to find something wrong w the CR-V, but really can't.
Acceleration is pretty impressive and passenger space is remarkable, and I was a RAV4 owner for 5 years.
Supposedly mpg on the HR-V is considerably less

I need a new car for my growing family. I’m definitely leaning more towards the hrv because I always liked it better. Will 2 car seats fit comfortably in there?

Eliminating the fog lights a big mistake. I use mine a lot. Sames goes for the quick release seat levers in the cargo area. And the conversation mirror/sunglass holder... The smaller middle console. Just uuugh. Not impressed. And I didn't need the CR-V to get bigger with the fuel prices. So wrong.

Hrv sport will last longer if you want to keep it. 20 plus years good engine
