My parents and I had our interview today. We are just very happy to get it. We recently took a trip to Aruba, and going through US customs was a total nightmare. We waited over 3 hours just to get through. When we got home, my Dad immediately signed us up. We are just happy now that we don’t have to wait forever to get through customs

One good thing to add is that if you are conditionally pre-approved, you can have your interview at one of the participating international airports upon returning to the USA. I did it that way because the closest interview site to my home was 2 hours away. Great experience!!!

Update Post: Global Entry might be the Best travel investment ever especially for ppl who like to travel internationally. My wife and I breezed through the JFK and Miami airport security & passport checkpoints. It was definitely a stress reliever 😂

If you have American Express platinum card. You get a $100 credit to use for the global entry application.

Since we live in Michigan with easy access to Canadian border crossings, my family got the Nexus card. It is a joint operation program with Canadian and US Customs and Border Patrol. It provides expedited access into Canada and back into the US via land crossings. Beneficial because sometimes flights in and out or Toronto are cheaper than Detroit or Chicago. The biggest benefit is that US Global Entry as well as TSA Precheck are included in the program.

Using Global Entry card in the SENTRI or NEXUS lanes. Global Entry members, who wish to drive their vehicle in the SENTRI lanes,  must register their vehicle with CBP

Global entry is a no brainer. It includes TSA pre check. If you are a baller and have a Amex platinum card it is free they reimburse you every 5 years. If you travel domestically or international it’s worth it. Clear is free too with Amex. The real video should be is if Amex Plat worth it and it is

Asking for a friend 😅. What if you have misdemeanors? Like you have never been convicted but arrested, or your charges were dropped, etc. . Will you still qualify?
