Great info. Thank you. So prior to this video I watched your tutoria on how to back up to Google. My question is... if I back up everything to Google so I can start fresh on my new Android Phone will I be able to go to Google Drive or Google one and transfer the files i want to keep to my new device? And... if so will my contacts for example have all the data as it was? Any information you can give me will be greatly appreciated 🙂

Thanks so much!! Yesterday I looked at a couple of other videos on this topic and I just couldn't do the transfer. Thankfully I found your video today and all I needed to do on my old phone was install the smart switch ap, and then everything worked perfectly. The other videos kept taking me to settings to look for smart switch and it wasn't there so nothing happened. Obviously, I'm not tech savy so thanks a bunch for the part about installing the ap on the old phone.

Very good video. I have two questions if you could please respond I would greatly appreciate it. 1) on my old Samsung I have some apps stored on micro SD due to storage issues.Will they transfer automatically or do I need to restore them to internal memory before switching?? 2) I have most apps from Google play and some from the Samsung store so should I use the Switch app from the Samsung app Store or Google? Thank you for this great video. I am not technically inclined but still can understand it. However I have a few questions:
1. I noticed that you don't transfer the account. Is there any reason for that? When should I have my account transferred?
2. I have 3 google accounts. If I am going to transfer the account, do I transfer the 3 accounts?

Can you use smart switch more than once between the same phones? Let’s say you’ve added new messages in between starting to use your new phone. And want the new phone to be up to date with messages and call history?

Been trying it and now the old phone will only receive data from new phone. When I want the old phone to resend the data to the new phone.

Hi, just a clarification. I need to switch data from my old S10 to the new S24 using Smart Switch. I mounted a memory card on the old S10. How can I transfer the data stored on the memory card to the new S24 considering that there is no memory card slot on the S24? Does Smart Switch include this possibility?Thanks for your help.

I'm very impressed by your video, which stands out from the rest. But I'm not at all tech savvy and won't give it a try until you've granted me your professional advice about two key issues: 1) is Samsung Smart Switch compatible with LGK8 and Moto G5 or do I need to download "Smart Switch: Transfer my Data" instead? 2) will the transfer remove the data from my old phone? In samsung smart switch when you select custom option there appears exclamation mark next to the photos videos or music folder what that mean
