Edward G. Robinson's great film called Scarlet Street: A review of the Fritz Lang film
Director Fritz Lang's 1945 film noir Scarlet Street is based on the French novel La Chienne or the B word in translation and once you see this film you’ll know who this term applies to. Edward G. Robinson, Joan Bennet, and Dan Duryea round out the film’s cast.
If you like this review of German director Fritz Lang's post Metropolis film noir Scarlet street, please let me know in the comments and leave a thumbs up. I alos liked the juxtapose of robinsons character being manipulated by the women, only to learn the lady was also being manuoulated by her pimp / boyfriend. Everyone paid the price for their delusions and allusions. Great film, and great review godfather. ❤
