Arch Linux Installation: Localization: locale generation, language and keyboard setup

In this episode, we use our virtual machine to study how to set up the localization for our installed system during the Arch Linux installation procedure. We take a look at a few different locales, how to enable them and how to set up the default for the OS.

Hello Nice, I ran "locale-gen" command after editing the /etc/locale.gen file but got this error- /usr/bin/locale-gen: line 33: sed command not found, .UTF-8/usr/bin/locale-gen: line 35: sed command not found, ... /usr/bin/locale-gen: line 38: sed command not found. Could you please help out? Or anybody with experience on this, please kindly help. Thanks in advance.

This was a great video. Thank you. I have been trying to find the details of this.
I'm from India, want to use en_IN as the primary system language, and de_DE as secondary. But my keyboard is US layout to which I want to add de_DE as an alternative. Can I set all of this up after the complete arch install?
Also, I am unsure of the benefits of using en_IN in comparison to en_US. I primarily need en_IN while writing articles and documents. I don't prefer the US spellings. However, my libreoffice writer accepts both standard GB/IN spellings and US spellings and does not show error after switching to en_IN from its menus . But if I choose en_US in libreoffice options, then the spellcheck shows any variation from US spellings as wrong. I have no idea what is going on.

Sorry for the rant and the long message. Please let me know if you direct me in understanding this.
