Another tip if you're starting off with a relatively modest budget and need some instant cash. At the start of your first season, before you do anything else, delegate new contracts for every player and put the maximum offer as the wage they're already on but offer them a smaller weekly wage e.g. Pogba 200k a week
Offer 170 with max of 200 and he will more than likely accept the lower wage. It works with everybody if you don't offer a too low wage to start with. It will bump up your wage budget which you then can switch into your transfer one and get a few extra quid.

In older fifas I used always do that. At the start of a new season I used swap transfer my player with the huge wage for ver low rated player n than wud avoid paying a release fee.

It works on lower budgets but wages cannot exceed 120k if you have a starting budget in that season of about 1 or 2 million really only 10-30% of the wage you adjust can be put on a player i had 800k wage but to afford release fee you need to have a max of 200k wage it only gives you about an extra 5 mil so you end up with about 7mil you need to do it every season to work

Another thing you can do is on the 30th june make sure you have an email in your inbox that can take you to transfer hub and have a free agent on your shortlist, THE GAME WILL ALLOW YOU TO USE YOUR ENTIRE TRANSFER BUDGET ON WAGES, I gave someone £970 MILLION a week! End the season and renegotiate their wages to something more resonable and now you have a wage budget of £970 MILLION, which can be allocated to a £50 BILLION transfer budget!

Can you do this without simulating the whole season? Like right at the beginning of the season then a few days after release the player?

I’ve just tried it giving a free agent player 300k I’ve released him for £19mil and my transfer budget is worse than what it was before releasing the player? Any ideas?
