Check out the Merrell Moab 3 Mid Boot here:

The Moab 3 Mid GORE-TEX Boots by Merrell offer out-of-the-box comfort and durability that out-treks every outback boot.

For breathability on every bush bash, these kicks boast a pig leather and mesh upper construction. Like a well-trained runner on a familiar route, the contoured footbed allows a surefooted tread. Keep the rock and rubble on track, with the bellows tongue that prevents pebbles and debris from invading your foot space – and pave an eco-friendly path, thanks to 100% recycled laces and webbing. A Vibram® TC5+ outsole ensures stability for virtually all outdoor, water, and multi-sport activities, with its non-marking formula delivering a kick-butt blend of durability, flexibility, and traction. Challenge those ever-changing trails with the robust resilience of a protective toe cap, while cushioning in the heel offers both support and shock absorption.

The Merrell Moab 3 Mid GTX Boots are laced with a butt-kicking blend of robustness and comfort, from the toe cap to the footbed.

I’ve had several of the Merrell Moab GTX mid boots over the years. An awesome travel & hiking shoe that’s carried me through 19 countries, through low lands and snow capped alps. I won’t buy anything else now.

I've got a pair of leather slip-on Merrell walking shoes that I've had since (I think) 2016 or '17. They are still wearing well, other than the sole, which began to separate a few years ago. I reglued it and have had no issues since then.
I can't speak for newer Merrells, but the ones I have were well worth the $100+ that I paid for them at a DFO store.

My Plantar Fascitis get worst when I wear them. The sole is hard. If you would make it softer it would be awesome for us with Planta Fascitis.

My current Moab 2, are 3.5yrs old and I'm hessitant about buying this brand again.
The sole material was never "grippy", unlike a $10 pair of rubbish from kmart. But I give them 10/10 for waterproof, comfort and exterior wear.

Hi, is the Merrell Speed Strike gtx ( J066978) is good to use during winter? I have wide foot and bunions. I used to walk 2.5 km from home to work and from work to home.

Merrell boots are utter garbage. I got a pair they replaced UNDER WARRANTY because the first pair had broken off half the lugs on the sole. THe replacement boots fell apart about two months after I placed them in service. I walk on GRASS. GRASS. County gravel roads. Once or twice a day. And they already fell apart. I contacted Merrell again and they refused to do anything about it.

They were Moab's. They were $130.00 for the pair. That's $130.00 down the TOILET.

I've been wearing them with the sole half fallen off cause they're useable during DRY, NON-DEWY, weather. But they have also developed a CHUNK on the outside of the inner sole, on the opposite side of my foot from the inner arch, that makes my outer foot ride up, and it really hurts.

ALSO, there's no way to waterproof them. If you walk in twenty feet of dewy grass, your feet will be wet for the rest of the day. I contacted Merrell to ask what they used or sold to waterproof them. THey DID NOT. I asked them what they'd recommend to waterproof them. THEY DID NOT. They leak like sieves. Plus with the broken lugs on the bottom, any moisture that can, will get in through the outer soles.

THey are JUNK. DO NOT BUY MERRELL BOOTS. \\

A $5 pair of Columbias I got at the thrift store lasted FIVE YEARS until I literally wore everything off the bottom sole. THey're still solid boots, and I use em for wading while trout fishing.
