How to find transcript for any Youtube video and quickly jump to any word or phrase in the video

Then click on any timestamp to jump to that section of the video. Also you can use your browser's "find" function (control-F on windows, command-F on Mac) to quickly find any word or phrase in the video transcript.

Some videos don't have the transcripts. Is there another way to get a transcript of a video if the way you are showing it is not available??

I have a mac also. The transcript feature and command+f worked great for a time, but it doesn't work anymore. When I try to search for a word, it highlights it, but the screen doesn't jump to that word, so I still have to scroll through often times. 3 hour video to find the highlighted word. Do you have any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this? It happens in both Safari and Google, maybe something with the latest iOS update?
