How to Search for Topics in a Youtube Transcript

Показать описание
When a Youtube video contains the topic you want, you don't have to watch the WHOLE video! Just watch the part you need to see. How? Find your topic in the transcript, and go right to that part of the video.

But how do you do that? You search the Youtube transcript for the topic you need! In this video, I show you two ways to do that.

If you have questions or other tips, let me know in the comments!

This is what I was looking for, but when I view the video's transcript I'm trying to search, I don't have the search option. But, I found that if I just search the page with my browser's find command, it find text in the transcript! Thank you!

I can do it on this video for example, but on a 2 hour podcast, i dont have any transcript. So im guessing not all videos have this option? If I watch the video on the youtube app rather than the browser, I have a transcript but no search icon, and unfortunately I cant use the search in the alternative browser option on the youtube app.

On mobile, this video has a search bar that appears over the transcript when you click "show transcript". Most videos don't have this option clicking "show transcript" just opens the transcript and but there's no search bar. I there a way to search through the transcript of these videos on mobile?
