The thing next to the 35V caps is likely an induction coil which is switched by the FETS.

Hi mate, just wondering do these ever come in a split rails config, eg. + - 12/15v so you can power an opamp circuit? Or would you buy one rated at 30v dc and do the rails in your circuit?

I really do suggest that whenever you see an earth terminal, you ensure it has a earth connection!
