I am still impressed by your videos style. If you look at how RealLifeLore and Wendover illustrate their videos, which do a good job already, you are just on still another level

The visuals you make are just always so top notch - from the way you use maps, the 3d models, even the way you utilize colorization. I think the shot at 9:12 is especially cool how the planes look 2d but as you zoom in, they are actually 3d models

Great video! As someone working in flight operations for a major airline, you definitely nailed the explanation of the processes of airspace risk assessment which are now in place since MH17. One minor improvement: when you mention airspace, you visually highlight the countries. It would be better to highlight the actual FIR's. For example, this further narrows down the actual available corridor via Turkey and the Caucuses due to the fact that Rostov and Simferopol FIR's extend even further south over the Black Sea.

Guys, the transition from the map to the plane and the music 13:51 change was goosebumps editing.

An absolute masterclass in production quality. As a video editor myself, I'm very impressed.

I feel like this video is going to start slow, as right now it only has 2k views in an hour, but it will definetly blow up because it’s such High quality content!

It was a Buk TELAR (Tarnsporter Erector Launcher And Radar), one of many vehicles that make up the "Buk" system. Which consists of radar vehicles, C&C vehicles, a number of TELAR (what most people think of when they hear "Buk" SAM, and what most people have seen and been shown) and TEL vehicles.

Not only is this a really well researched and narrated essay, but the accompanying visuals that compliment the narration are extremely well done. Thank you very much for conceiving this and making it for us.

As a exchange student in the US, now I need to take the world longest distance commercial flight since the closer of Russian air space. It took me 17 hours from New York to Hong Kong

If I'm not mistaken, I believe you've change the titles of both this and the previous video? For me, I avoided both videos because the titles sounded clickbait-ish and I was so sick and tired of the endless mainstream media "ghost of Kyiev" style regurgitating blargh. Now that I've actually watched this video you've turned out to be very impartial in your reporting and the animations are absolutely world class, this video deserves millions of views and I hope she does better now!

You could have mentioned the non-stop flight from Helsinki to Tokyo by Finnair. It was the first airline to open the arctic route

8:56 I live in Toronto and there's been a Volga-Dnepr Airlines Antonov 124 impounded at Pearson airport since the invasion started. It landed just before it began and was unlucky to be here when Canada banned all Russian registered aircraft. It's been sitting on the ramp at the airport for months now, racking up a hefty parking bill.

Damn the last 3 years have just been sucker punches to the airline industry

covid, rising fuel prices, and now having to take longer routes.

With the restricted Europe-Asian flight corridor it must be a contributor as to why the UAE's airport has become so busy.
