Frederick III and his British born wife Victoria had a total of eight children together. You might recognise the most famous of them all: the later German Emperor and King of Prussia Wilhelm II. But who were his other seven siblings? Well, we will answer that question in this two part series, starting today with his four sisters

Frederick iii and his queen Victoria (daughter of Britain's queen victoria) were the lost (due
to death) and last hope of Imperial Germany!. It is truly unfortunate that his reign was
cut short.

It’s not often that the death of one individual massively alters the course of history but if Frederick III, with all of his liberal and cultured instincts, had not died so prematurely in 1888, then the militaristic, expansionist, hostile culture would never have developed as it was allowed to under his desperately inadequate son. It’s not a big stretch to say that that throat tumour precipitated the outbreak of World War 1 barely 26 years later.

Intelligent and cultured, he suffers from an inferiority complex due to his left arm being paralyzed since birth. He will constantly strive to hide this handicap which prevents him from practicing arms and riding well. one of his big mistakes will have been to dismiss Bismarck who, although very old, would have allowed him to avoid certain political errors… thank you for this video 🙏

Wonderful information! My ex-husband's family are direct descendants. Our 2 children have suffered with symptoms identical to the porphyria you thoughtfully mentioned. It may not be the answer, but it is an avenue to be explored. Thank you for sharing your insight.

The life stories of these long-forgotten royal personages is mostly sad. They were all more or less controlled by the matriarch Queen Victoria, who used them and their marriages to create an Euro-wide dynasty. It did not work. There were too many personalities involved. WW1 put paid to most of them. Victoria could never have imagined that what she had conceived would all end in dust and ignominy. Largely thanks to her grandson, the Kaiser. Mind you, most of these characters never went short of a hot meal, and held on to their inherited jewels. No tears for they!
