I remember someone at my job believing up and down about the Ancient Astronaut theory. His main pet piece of evidence was that the pyramid shape is a common recurring shape in ancient structures. To which I countered, "Do you seriously believe that all these different civilization didn't just come to same conclusion of 'Heavy things on the bottom are better than heavy things on the top'?"
