Western tool brands if I'm not mistaken are under 4 holding companies, so many are practically sister companies. Rigid is a good brand, kaya lang no AD in the country or not widely used so support is practically non existent. I'm already heavily invested in Bosch, Makita and Ronix both cordless and corded, for Bosch and Makita support and longevity of product lines are very good since there are AD in the country and can probably buy batteries in the foreseeable futute. Ronix is an Iranian company pretending to be German 😅, quality of tools are good and comparable to Bosch and Makita, after sales support is non existent though. I recently bought a Skil Oscillating Multi tool since it's the only oscillating tool that can accept both OIS and Starlock blades "tool less", the tool is great together with the battery that came up with it, the problem is the spare battery I bought, it's probably super old stock, only 11.9V at charged state (3 out of 4 bars only), support is also non existent even though there's AD in the country.
