I needed some work on my garage floor and found this great video. Well, I was so impressed I wanted to hire Mike to work on my project but unfortunately I live in Minnesota. Instead I called Mike and had a talk with him about my project. I could not be more impressed. He picked up the phone late on a weeknight and talked to me about my cracked garage floor. After going of the details he gave me solid advice as how approach the right solution when hire a concrete contractor here in Minnesota. He went above and beyond and was willing to help a guy in Minnesota !! I cannot thank him enough. Thanks Mike !

I just want to make this very clear! I DO NOT & would NOT hurt this beautiful planet we live on. I recycle and repurposed as much consrtuction waste as we can. Concrete is clean fill. I know that clip looks like I was dumping into the woods.. it is a construction shop that is permitted to fill the ravine for a parking area. All those trees are being cut down.I should have panned around so you could see all the dump trucks and equipment. Sorry if anybody took offense!
I have other videos showing us repurposing material and also bringing construction debris not clean fill to the land fill.

I have a similar project. What about the edge next to the walls? Any tricks or tips on cleaning that up? And do you drill in to wall and put rebar into existing con?

We’re having to do the same thing to the garage and pave a new driveway on this 80’s home. This video was very educational and gave me an idea of what to come. At least the work part of it, don’t know what the cost would be here in Georgia. Thanks for the video.

Very nice job! What’s the rate for something like this on a 2 car garage. I’m in central Maryland. My 1960s garage floor is really bad. Was going to patch and paint it but this is much nicer.

I drive a rear discharge. Out West not too many front discharge trucks. It would be interesting to try a front discharge

Glad I found your video. I know it has been 4 years but I'll take a chance. I have to rip/replace my slab in a 20x20 garage up here in Quebec, Canada. It was built in one shot as a floating slab (slab and footing poured at same time).If I cut the inside perimeter of the slab, do I have to dowel the slab to the footing? Some people have told me to put a tar paper between slab and footing so that slab floats independent of footing. Also, should I remove river stone from under the slab and replace with compacted 0-3/4, crusher run? Thanks in advance for any advice
